I saw that from Jon Quach old tekhseven videos. You should at least leave it for 24 hours.

But in his case. The phone still turns on but only at nokia logo. I don't thinks its a water problem.

You better put your battery and phone(with his keyboard slided out) in some rice for a few hours and everything will be normal after that. Rice will absorb moisture and everything will be dry and...
