YouTube is now checking what browser you use to access it. You can try changing the user agent or, better, install cuteTube and use that.

FWIW, I am seriously considering getting rid of Flash...

@emotion: do you have enought power for your HDD? Also try to use H-E-N (reboot before using) and wait more seconds between enumerate and vbus. Also not all USB devices working with n900...

also did the upgrade of the fcam driver.... by dpkg -i

you're using firmware from 2009 and an EMMC image from April 2010?
Why?

Use the most recent firmware 20.2010.36 and the most recent EMMC...
