Try changing the protocol to IP in settings->mobile network->data access point. That works for me on EE in the UK.

Is there a lock screen which can show preview of incoming messages (sms/mms/email/im/etc.)? Not just the number missed calls and incoming messages like maenotify...

Seems like more smoke and mirrors. I rather suspect that pressure on the phone was significantly less than would be placed by an average ~1400kg family car rolling slowly over it.

Warehouse may list every relevant package on openrepos, but it only installs user packages and their dependencies. Have you tried installing via the command line with apt-get?

What I do is go to terminal and type:

ps | grep rocket

this will bring up the pid (number) of the rocket process, then you can type:

kill "pid number"

No. Nothing technical stops something like that being done (we use the same input method framework as the N9, a few generations further on) - there simply isn't a keyboard implemented like that.
