Well I was wrong about the battery charging. The new battery is not charging. It has to be the wall charger that is defective. I have never in my life had problems with an electronic device like this one. I am so bitter. I can't catch a break with this device.

Well it turns out after all of this "battery issues" crap. It was the power cord.
