ok, my next challenge is how do I insert an image onto this site? it asks for a url...?

BTW my sources file is blank and I have package_sources.pl and package_sources (1).pl which contain alot of text that doesnt look like the script on your site!

What do they look like? :confused:

And you can post images by adding them as attachments.

ok, the files do contain the script, but when opened in noptepad on my comp they looked a bit different with all the square symbols etc.
I'm confused why yesterday i got a list of stuff, now I've just got an error. Also thought that I'd deleted the second copy of the script!

You've got the error because you've typed 'per1' rather than 'perl'

That is a L I think a diferent font output looks like a 1. I dont think the link works i cant download the zip file from that site?

AH MAN,

I had this working 10 minutes ago. Now I've started to try and create a bash file to do this for me, but it won't work.
infact if I go into the correct folder
and then type:
"grep -i extras-devel sources.txt"

nothing happens, have I maybe change something or missed something out? is there a type there maybe

Yes, anything starting with "lib" is usually a shared library that's required by one of your installed programs. Several of the others are also likely to be dependencies that were automatically pulled in along with the normal applications.
