I'm still convinced that many browser crashes have to do with the website visited (note: by saying that I am not letting Nokia off the hook). Maybe we need to establish some sort of compatibility benchmark system, where we have several typical websites that run the gamut of compatibility. Then we can see if we can establish some commonality in these seemingly random events...

How about this: I only used it to visit these forums, Google and gmail. No, the crashes are inexcusable. Oh and btw with javascript enabled gmail won't let you change password: it just keeps refilling the old one in and removing the keyboard. Sounds like Opera's messing up again...

*edit*

I would love to run my entire system off RS-MMC maybe the internal flash mem is to blame.

Do you mean you disabled it in some places on the system or that we can not run flash at all (even the old version) on OS2007/770?

my guess is he's talking about disabling it in the browser settings (you can do this in os2006, too). a lot of people disable the plugin; flash's mostly ads, anyway.

So who is stopping you from doing it? :-)

Yes, mostly (=99.9%) I don't need Flash. And if there is a need it is easy to enable temporarily (rightmost button in toolbar).

...and that's something else that could perhaps benefit from serious analysis. It's my impression that your experience is unique (I haven't encountered them, but my experience could be unique as well). Maybe you could construct a poll here to see how many experience similar issues. That's a start...

RS-MMC are very expensive (and rare) over here :) No, really...

*edit*

Oh and the password thing referred to gmail only.

Hmm, in my country the kingston mmcmobile 2GB is available in almost every webshop and price is equivalent to $30 including VAT. Is this very expensive?

Hey I'm a student with no cash! The real reason is that I _do_ have better uses for my time :)

*edit*

And I prefer buying stuff like flash mem in person... heard one too many eBay stories -- and 1GB card here costs about $55!
