I don't really know, but I doubt it very much.
BT on both the IT and a PC are designed as hosts for various BT devices, not peer network end-points. One, or the other, or both, would have to implement a BT profile (protocol stack) that does what you want and I don't think either the tablet or the PC knows how to do that out of the box. I am not sure what your end objective is here, but if you cannot use a wifi access point then have you considered just using a wifi USB dongle in your PC and then using ICS on the PC to get to the Internet? However, wifi routers and access points s are so cheap now that I don't really see the point in not using one. |

If so, then I think you are screwed unless you can get your IT guys to give you a dispensation to use wifi at work. |

Of course you can use Bluetooth to connect to the Internet. This Linux! :) Just click on the Wiki and read a few articles on using bluetooth to connect to the internet. The instructions there are better than I could reproduce here.

Re: Need help with bluetooth pairing
take a look at the PAN threads for information about connecting over PAN.
for windows, you'll probably need to do PPP over RFCOMM, not trivial to summarise. |
