I don't really know, but I doubt it very much.

BT on both the IT and a PC are designed as hosts for various BT devices, not peer network end-points. One, or the other, or both, would have to implement a BT profile (protocol stack) that does what you want and I don't think either the tablet or the PC knows how to do that out of the box.

I am not sure what your end objective is here, but if you cannot use a wifi access point then have you considered just using a wifi USB dongle in your PC and then using ICS on the PC to get to the Internet?

However, wifi routers and access points s are so cheap now that I don't really see the point in not using one.

It just occurred to me that you are probably trying to pair your IT with an office computer where wifi access is not allowed.

If so, then I think you are screwed unless you can get your IT guys to give you a dispensation to use wifi at work.

Of course you can use Bluetooth to connect to the Internet. This Linux! Just click on the Wiki and read a few articles on using bluetooth to connect to the internet. The instructions there are better than I could reproduce here.

take a look at the PAN threads for information about connecting over PAN.

for windows, you'll probably need to do PPP over RFCOMM, not trivial to summarise.
