Just use the google maps web page, after installing maemo-geolocation.

I've tried installing maemo-geolocation 1.1.3-1 from the App Manager without any success. I checked through the add-ons in MicroB and there is no added plugin in there.

Can anyone help? Thanks.

The repos are down at the moment due to a DNS problem, just wait for a bit and hopefully it will sort itself out.

After installing maemo-geolocation make sure you restart the browser, while the browswer is open, press the power button and end current task. Then it all works.

I've tried doing exactly that but it didn't work.

Are you suppose to see an add-on in microb? Because I can't.

Thanks.

No, just install it and use the other programs that rely on its service. Maemo-geolocation should be "transparent" to you.

Setup a "bookmark" to:

maps.google.com/maps/m?

...and you will notice that you will not see the geolocation app at all, but the GPS will function with the site.

Sorry for the late thanks, colnago... Decided Nokia Maps was okay for me until GeePS came along. :)
