I've tried installing maemo-geolocation 1.1.3-1 from the App Manager without any success.

After installing maemo-geolocation make sure you restart the browser, while the browswer is open, press the power button and end current task. Then it all works.

I've tried doing exactly that but it didn't work.
Are you suppose to see an add-on in microb? Because I can't.
Thanks.

No, just install it and use the other programs that rely on its service. Maemo-geolocation should be "transparent" to you.
Setup a "bookmark" to:
maps.google.com/maps/m?
...and you will notice that you will not see the geolocation app at all, but the GPS will function with the site.
