MyDocs is the directory you see when you plug your N900 in.

since you said that the folder that comes up is the 'mydocs' folder, I created a folder in there called: test, then i typed: cd /home/MyDocs/test in x terminail and I got this: can`t cd to /home/MyDocs/test My aim is to create a folder in: /home/MyDocs/ and make it visible when i connect the phone to pc |

It also happen to me: when i plug my n900 and choose "archive data" or something like that (now i do not remember) i can not see any folder browsing from my n900, but i can see everithing browsing from my PC.
If you choose only charge (just click out from pop up window) when you plug your n900, you still can browse your folder from your phone. Regards. |
Re: Unable to see /home directory when connected via USB
When you connect the phone through Storage Mode, the phone locks you out of the MyDocs directory to prevent any issues such as writing to the same file twice (from computer and from phone). Its to prevent data loss or corruption.
