since you said that the folder that comes up is the 'mydocs' folder, I created a folder in there called: test, then i typed: cd /home/MyDocs/test in x terminail and I got this: can`t cd to /home/MyDocs/test

Hi, I am unable to see my: /home folder when I plug my n900 to my pc and put it in storage mode, any ideas? thanks

When you connect the phone through Storage Mode, the phone locks you out of the MyDocs directory to prevent any issues such as writing to the same file twice (from computer and from phone). Its to prevent data loss or corruption.
