Poor Connectivity/Reception over WiFi / 3G + connection drops
Have a problem with my Nokia N9 dropping my connection constantly. This happens on both Wifi and 3G.
Also transmission and receiving signal strength is extremely weak compared to other wireless devices I own. Extremely frustrating when downloading maps/packages. I think this is also the reason why the battery life on it sucks and ultimately why the Galaxy S3 is now my primary phone. Any fixes? |

swap it on warranty, might be hardware issue.

Re: Poor Connectivity/Reception over WiFi / 3G + connection drops
I've searched around and it appears that the antenna on N9 is just weak in general, but I'm not sure why it drops so often.
I was just wondering if there was a way to set the Tx / Rx Power (transmission power) on the N9 through some firmware setting like you can for routers through open source firmware like dd-wrt. Re: Maps. If anyone is still looking for a way to load maps without using the shitty wifi, you can load them via Windows PC using Nokia Suite Beta 3.5 |
