Camera phone competition July 2014: "Speed"
For this month ste-phan chose speed.
"Speed : use your smartphone and creativity to capture the sense of speed. Fast or slow - the movement needs to be clearly shown, not imagined like in a picture of a static airplane or race car." I think that does it. The rules: Photos must be taken during this month. Photos must be taken by the posting member. Photos must be taken with a camera phone. Users must name the phone used to shoot the picture. Users must add a link to the original photo with EXIF. Users can change the entry only once. Last three days of this month are for voting. Now would be a perfect time for perfect shots! |

I don't see anything airborn here but the thing that distract me are the shoes.

Ah sorry, sometimes I don't know what I'm saying.
I forgot the theme was speed and not flying stuff. :D |

Here is my entry. A picture of my N900 in the window of a Eurostar coach, running GPSJinni and displaying the current speed in km/h. The speed went up to 300 at times but, balancing a sleeping child in my lap, I was glad to get any picture at all and did not catch the maximum. The screen appears a bit dim against the bright background but can be just about readable.
Taken on Monday 7th July with my wife's Nokia 5800. No pre- or post-processing other than mangling by the TMO uploader. Attachment 35529 Edit: For the EXIF purists, I am hereby attaching the zipped and tarred original: |
