For this month ste-phan chose speed.

"Speed : use your smartphone and creativity to capture the sense of speed.
Fast or slow - the movement needs to be clearly shown, not imagined like in a picture of a static airplane or race car."

I think that does it.

The rules:

Photos must be taken during this month.
Photos must be taken by the posting member.
Photos must be taken with a camera phone.
Users must name the phone used to shoot the picture.
Users must add a link to the original photo with EXIF.
Users can change the entry only once.
Last three days of this month are for voting.

Now would be a perfect time for perfect shots!

I don't see anything airborn here but the thing that distract me are the shoes.

I thought those cops zooming past would qualify as speed. Their motorbikes are little blurry as a result. I can maybe try change it with another, more evident, photo later in the month.

Also, not to be pedantic but "airborne" :P

Ah sorry, sometimes I don't know what I'm saying.
I forgot the theme was speed and not flying stuff.

Here is my entry. A picture of my N900 in the window of a Eurostar coach, running GPSJinni and displaying the current speed in km/h. The speed went up to 300 at times but, balancing a sleeping child in my lap, I was glad to get any picture at all and did not catch the maximum. The screen appears a bit dim against the bright background but can be just about readable.

Taken on Monday 7th July with my wife's Nokia 5800. No pre- or post-processing other than mangling by the TMO uploader.

Two more days to participate! I will try and make something today but later in the evening because there's too much light now.
