flasher says i need newer version, and i have 3.0
ok, so i've been trying to flash my tablet to rd mode, but the flasher won't have it, it tells me that i need a newer version, and i have the latest, as far as i know at least. i'm using ubuntu...

ok, so ive had my n800 for a littoe while and flashed to itos2008 and i cant get the phonelink package from maemo.org to install, my app manager just says ''operation failed'' anybody have advice...

ok, the flasher tries to run, but it then proceeds to tell me that "permission is denied"... and i'm logged in as root.

It tells me that it's an invalid binary. Is there another location where i can get it? Or do you think it could be my screw up? which is entirely possible.

ok, so i'm trying to flash my tablet to RD mode, for some reason, i can't get the flasher to run in Fedora 8 or PCLOS 2007, it's very strange, anybody have another solution, or a different approach...

well, RD mode turns on the serial pins next to the battery, and so supposedly, this drains power, but if i had to guess, it's so minuscule, that it only changes battery life by maybe a few minutes,...
