ok, so i'm trying to flash my tablet to RD mode, for some reason, i can't get the flasher to run in Fedora 8 or PCLOS 2007, it's very strange, anybody have another solution, or a different approach to do it?

Er, do you have an error message or something? "i can't get the flasher to run" is incredibly useless for troubleshooting.

It tells me that it's an invalid binary. Is there another location where i can get it? Or do you think it could be my screw up? which is entirely possible.

ok, the flasher tries to run, but it then proceeds to tell me that "permission is denied"... and i'm logged in as root.

Invalid usually indicates a corrupted download. Try again.

After getting an uncorrupted binary, did you make sure to chmod 755?
