I'm in Afghanistan and my wireless internet is on again off again. But my laptop is hard wired. I want some programs from maemo.org, but it wants me to download them using the N800. Is there any way...

Yeah, we lucked out here. Most of the FOB's in Afghanistan don't have wireless. It definitely is a lifesaver! We don't have any phones though, save for the Roshan cell phones we have, but we bought...

I downloaded the theme editor from maemo.org and I tried to photoshop a theme, but that might be a little too optimistic right now. But I definitely want to customize it as much as I can.

10th Mountain out of Fort Drum! New York is my home state. I actually mobilized for this deployment out of Fort Bragg which is in your neck of the woods and I'm going back there in December...
