i read through all of those, and they all seem to need "boot from sd". i dont have an sd card, so are there any of these that dont need an sd card?

alternative desktops?
are there any more "desktoppy", window's esque desktops that can be installed on maemo? i want to keep maemo, i just want a 'standard' desktop. anything like that?

well, there are decent psx emulators on the gp2x, which is 290mhz, with 64 mb of ram, so it should be easily done an n8x0, with a 400mhz processor, and at least 128 mb of ram. there is no excuse for...
