Thank you for the reply the battery is fine before and after the charge. I have tried with different versions but its true I have only focused on the Global region but I dont have much hope in that...

No it does not blink. I am just about to give up.. I have tried everything now. It finished reflashing but it still reboots constantly. For me it is strange if it is the battery that I can leave it...

Does anyone know if the N900 charges while in USB mode. I started the USB mode with the phone connected to the charger. A yellow light is shown so I hope it is charging.

I cut opened a USB cable and used the red and black wires as + an - Charged the battery with USB for 5 minutes and then entered USB mode and it started flashing see below.

Thanks for the suggestion but its not the button because if I remove the battery it is off until I turn it on then the fun starts again .. and again.. and again.. :)

Thank you I guess you could be right that it cant get a charge because of the constant reboot. So I might need to find a way to charge it without being in the phone.

It is constantly rebooting unless I remove the battery than it does nothing until I either turn it on or connect the usb (or charger) then it continues to reboot.
