I had the same problem with this file and wrong md5sums. I got around it by disabling some lines in img-install/debian-installer.sh with a "#"
I disabled the line

mv $IMGLIST $IMGLIST.old

up...

Hey, this reminded my of a problem I had in connection with tiddlywiki. It seems that microb reverts all changes to prefs.js that were not done within microb.



Maybe this can help in your case...

It will probably be way too slow, but maybe IEs4Linux (http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/page/Main_Page) could be run on the N900.
