All fixed, got a response from the service manager at the London mega store and they sent me a new battery and charger.

So I am a happy Nokia customer once again.

Hey guys

I reflashed it and it still failed so I returned it to Nokia. They kept it for a week and said it tested ok with a dead battery after they flashed it.

I got it home and charged my...

Thanks guys, ran out of patience with it to be honest and have taken it in for a warranty replacement.

Fingers crossed the new one will work :(

I tried using the usb converter that came with the card and that doesnt work either.

May be a lost dream this one :(

Also I took the SD card I had added to the device out to back up the files...

I want to re-flash it as suggested but the instructions say "make sure your device is fully charged".

How long does a flash take?
