Re: A command-line tool for SMS backup and restore
Ok, I've cooked an updated patch which can be found here (http://molly.corsac.net/~corsac/n9/smsbackuprestore/0001-limit-number-of-text-gathered-to-1000-for-each-batch.patch). Built packages can be...

Re: A command-line tool for SMS backup and restore
It seems I have another issue with smsbackupexport. One (at least) contact sms are just totally missing from the export file. They were present before, but now they aren't anymore. I'm not too sure...

Re: [ANNOUNCE] EasyList
Do you think it'd be possible to add support for a push sync, so the remote list is set to the current local list? That'd be helpful for sharing lists between N9 and N900, for example.

Re: Handtec sourced N9 crashes thread
And I did find a place:
http://mrcrab.net/nokia/Nokia_N9.html?productType=RM-696&releaseID=6324395729&version=10.2011.34.1
The website doesn't completely look legit, but links are to Nokia...

Re: Handtec sourced N9 crashes thread
Thanks, but I do have the flasher, what am I missing is the firmware files. On the developper website the OneClick flasher is only for N950, not N9.

Re: Handtec sourced N9 crashes thread
I think it's too early to be sure. It was clearly functionning ok, and enabling developer mode leaded to that dnsmasq issue.
I'd clearly like to reflash it, but I can't seem to be able to find the...

Re: Handtec sourced N9 crashes thread
Ok, so in fact I didn't yet enable developer mode. I tried to do it, it downloaded some apps, then rebooted, but entered a reboot loop, ending with:
Device is malfunctioning
You may try...

Re: Handtec sourced N9 crashes thread
Ok, I received yesterday my N9 64G from handtec, and until now, no crash at all.
Firmware version: 10.2011.34-1_PR_001
Simcard Orange (France) (but was working without at the beginning)

Re: Handtec sourced N9 crashes thread
It'd help to know if other people experiencing crashes have them with or without SIM. I'm supposed to receive an N9 from Handtec soon, so I'll try both and report back.

Re: MeeGo-Harmattan HE
And note that Harmattan seems to use hardfp so any binary using floating point will surely die because of illegal instruction or something like that.

Re: MeeGo-Harmattan HE
Hmhm, sorry to disappoint you but my efforts aren't at all related to porting Harmattan to N900, it's more to examine and analyze the rootfs.

Yeah, to be fair I had very friendly answers to my questions on meego-security-discussionm, both from Nokia and Intel people. But Intel people are concerned about confusion between MeeGo 1.2 and...

Re: MeeGo-Harmattan HE
I'm on the #meego-arm channel but I'm not too sure if discussing this on MeeGo forums is a really good idea. I tried discussing Aegis/MSSF on meego-security-discussion list and I was pointed at the...

Re: MeeGo-Harmattan HE
Just to add a little bit more of information, ape-algo looks like a tiny Linux system for flashing.
It's a Linux kernel with a tiny initscript running softupd. The flasher sends it to the device,...

Re: MeeGo-Harmattan HE
Thanks, I didn't know that (it puzzles me a little though). So yeah, maybe reconstructing an lzo header might be the solution.

Re: MeeGo-Harmattan HE
I've found the ext4 magic too, but I'm not too sure it's really an ext4 header (but it might be worth trying identifying other fields)
I really don't think it is compressed. Look at the...
