You should have a look at the Open Video Player which supports subtitle, while VLC hasn't reached maturity on harmattan! ;)

I think so, but we need a proper QML or MWidget GUI. (I would prefer MWidget for some reasons.)
And we need to test if bellagio (opensource omxil standard) runs fine on Harmattan.
Vlc could use DSP...

Same problem here!
All repositories are lost, but it's not the only problem!

-Maybe cause I used the heavy "reboot" command these last 2 days.
-Since 2 days Extras-devel & Extras-testing are...
