Camera (device) rotation detection

Okay - I've read many (most?) of the notes concerning problems with N800 camera rotation, but I have not seen this. Sometimes my image is flipped when I rotate the camera, sometimes it is not. ...

Re: n810 as phone

Yes, sjgadsby is right - MiFi is another device. However, it's smaller than my N800, has a great battery life, and serves as a wifi hotspot for up to 5 computers within 30 feet. It's a great option...

liqbase problem?

I have been impressed by the videos of liqbase, especially the calendaring and recursive zooms. I have installed it twice (via Maemo Downoads for OS2008) on my N800. Both times the program very...

Re: NumptyPhysics 0.2 released (Spiral "gold fleck" problem?)

The Windows port must include NP-Complete. I took it home for my wife's Windows machine, and my kids love it. They have blown past the spiral (without solving it) to levels that I do not see on my...

Re: NumptyPhysics 0.2 released (Spiral "gold fleck" problem?)

I downloaded numpty for my N800 from the numpty home page - love it!

Download from Maemo Games never worked (it looks in the chinook directory, not diablo, even though I'm in the OS2008...

Re: New members say hello !

Hi all -

Got my N800 a few weeks ago (my first Nokia, but I have owned two different Zaurus models). The Forum is a great source of information. Thanks!

Re: Who owns the logo?

Kathy's links point to images of Tux, the linux logo. I would not have associated him with maemo.

debernardis - this is exactly what I had in mind.

Research (rats?)

Greetings!

Yes - I've searched the threads, and I have found nothing related. I am a scientist who studies behavior - mostly using rats. Much of my research involves variations on Pavlovian...

Re: Globalsat BT-359 GPS Review

I found the answer. This is my first experience with Bluetooth, and I failed to realize that the passkey code was device specific. 0000 worked perfectly with the BT-359CS, and I am now paired and...

Re: Globalsat BT-359 GPS Review

Trying to get my N800 working with the BT-359CS. N800 cannot pair to the device. What OS are you using? I'm trying OS2008 5.2008.43-7

Thanks!

New to the Fourm - greetings.

I just got my N800, and flashed it to OS2008. Prior to this, when running OS2007, if I accessed App Manager I could install both fmradio and camera. After the flash...
