I have seen the same thing (disappearing widgets) when making minor modifications to the widgets, contacts and shortcuts on the desktops. A couple of times already.

Bought my N900 direct from Nokia website the day it was released. LOVE it, and gladly gave my iPhone 3Gs to my wife. :)

Lol! That's awesome. I do the same, but people don't seem to "get it". When I show them my n900 and demo some of the cool things it can do, people say "oh, yeah, my phone does stuff like that.."...
