I have just got a unit of this SGS for my wife, damn, this thing is too fast compare with my N900. Especially while installing software from android market compare to installing software from N900...

i have managed to make it run already. The one in the repo has no garmin enabled. Got to follow magellan94 link. But the interface and reaction is not as good as expected.

Don't understand what to worry about Meego. N900 is upgradable to Meego or not does not really matter, your N900 will still be working with Maemo. As long as you are happy with the current support,...

it should not be the proxy. if you try to ping repository.maemo.org, you will get a wrong IP. After you edit the /etc/resolv.conf with a valid dns server IP and ping again, you will get the correct...

I have the same problem too, but have got it fixed. This has something to do with the DNS.

If you try to ping the repository.maemo.org, you will get an invalid IP. That is why you will never reach...
