Re: Sailfish on Turing Phones?
I’m loving the phone's look. What's most noticeable about using this phone as compared with some others you’ve owned or used?

Re: Turing Phone Cadenza
Hahahah, a Hacker with an iPhone on TMO? Even a jailbroken iPhone is suspect as *****, I suppose.
Well, call it the duality of man or something like that. Like a hooker with a heart of gold. ...

Re: Marc Dillon left Jolla
I don’t understand why the departure of a key player wouldn’t be news or why we wouldn’t be curious as to what's really going on. Dillon put himself in the public eye, and the people want to know...

Re: I am saying good-bye to this community
There are plenty of BlackBerry apps that can change the home screen wallpaper, lock screen wallpaper, color scheme, notification light behavior, etc. And I've heard that some Android apps also work...

Re: I am saying good-bye to this community
I am in the US, still have my N9 and N900, but I have some of the same issues as the OP. I'd love a Jolla phone, but the US compatibility is just not there very much. Right now, the option of porting...

Re: Angry birds Stella launcher by Jolla
It's good to be back posting in this forum!
So, I was lucky enough to be price checking a Jolla Sailfish phone on Jolla.com a few hours ago when I saw this launcher linked there. I had to deal...

Re: Jolla Sailfish Is stunning! Now on video!
For those of you who have participated in the earliest Jolla Sailfish round of phones, have you heard anything about when you will have the device delivered? What's the latest news?
I'd like to...

Re: Microsoft buying Nokia's devices & services
This is the Endgame of BlackBerry and Nokia, and the real question is what it will mean for Sailfish. The fall heavyweights are going to own the rest of the year and the challengers have been...

Re: Why does Android feel so lacking?
I only recently bought my first Android phone, an HTC One. Prior to this purchase, I've had jailbroken iPhones, an N900, an N9, a BB Z10, and a bunch of other, earlier feature phones. I have my One...

Re: Ubuntu Edge
Have I missed something? I've been looking for all the Sailfish info I could find and there has been precious little. Mostly speculation from others who also know less than they'd like to. I don't...

Re: Running android apps on Jolla, how?
I had a BlackBerry Z10 and the central problem with that approach to running Android apps was that only free apps were really legit, because of the inability to access the Google Play Store to buy...

Re: Ubuntu Edge
If they can deliver my Ubuntu Edge or something even better by May 2014, I would have absolutely no problem letting them keep my money. The dimming hopes of the initial campaign leave a huge gap in...

Being four million behind the donation curve isn't the end of the world, but I still think that something more needs to be done. The good news is that these sorts of campaigns usually get a boost in...

Re: Ubuntu Edge
The problem, in my opinion, is not the screen, but the price. Donation pace was a-okay when the price was right, record-setting in fact. The price went too high to $800+ the first time around, and...

So I got into the Ubuntu Edge deal at $675 and funding was going great. Now sales are moving as slow as an injured turtle.
I think things are slowing down because the $700 price point is...

I ordered the Ubuntu Edge because it stands for the proposition of promising the very best device that technology can produce at a price I can afford. Not "just enough." Not weakened. Not under...

Re: Ubuntu Edge
I signed up for the Edge! Got in at $675. There is a return policy if you don't like their phone, so risk is lessened. The earlier comment on this thread about the possibility of Sailfish OS running...
