Danke Schön a million times. It seems llike the solution. Allthough different networks, I had remnants of proxies on them. Cleaning those helped me now.

My browser got stuck when it was loading a page with a lot of java and flash ads. Ater that it does not show any pages. I get "updating" without anything else. Menu opens and I can see all the items...
