I have to disagree with the last point - swap isn't useful unless you need it. The only good reason to have it is as a safety margin for running out of memory situations.

As for MicroB, I really hope for the best. Looking at Firefox (another Mozilla-based browser) I wouldn't be too optimistic, the latest versions suddenly work terribly badly with gmail - it looks like the ajax makes it spinning CPU cycles whenever doing any operation (even scrolling). Can't use it for gmail until they fix that. On the other hand, 'galeon' (another gecko-based browser) is currently fine with gmail. Crossing fingers for MicroB of course - that's what we'll have to use and I know people are working on it.
