The text size is not too small for me. I rarely have to magnify. But it may be too small for older users? Still it may be madness to log too many hours of browsing with that small text size. You might get eye stress related ailments. But for that matter I wouldn't recommend hours of gameboy play. Everything in moderation. If at all possible, you should try to go to a brick and mortar store that may have 770 floor model (CompUSA?), and test drive it. See if the display is too small for your eyes. I didn't test drive before I bought my 770 but have found the screen size not to be problem for me.
