as i finally shifted to kernel-bfs and uninstalled kp (48+ramzswap) and got max overclocking on by default (stats/time_in_state made me wonder).
also you'll need kernel-power-settings 0.13 to tune it a bit.
The frequency range may be messed up as bfs8 is using kernel-power49 now, which changed the frequency layout a little. If you have problems you should probably check in the kp49 thread.

As for the slow WiFi I bet it's because of the hw encryption. Anyone know if it can be turned off for the wl12xx?
