Hi,
I managed to build latest libpcre3. Fremantle has ancient version 6.7, this is 8.30. There are a couple of applications that use it. To find them, just type
Code:
apt-cache rdepends libpcre3 libpcrecpp0
I need some testers who would find out whether the new version doesn't break anything.
The packages are here.

Shouldn't brick the N900, as it isn't installed by default.
Update: you may use the unstable branch of my repo if you want to test. WARNING: standard CSSU-devel warnings apply. Disable it straight after testing
deb line:
Code:
deb http://marmistrz.net63.net/repository fremantle unstable
Thanks!
