Did you:
1. Remove the battery while it was still plugged in?
- Yes, to see if it would start without the battery, like the PSP can.
2. Reseat the battery after the initial failure?
- I've put it in and out many times to no prevail.
3. Try it again with the power charger connected?
- For hours, with the wattmeter at the wall showing nothing.
Can you:
1. Hold down the power button for a lengthy period of time?
- I've tried till my finger started hurting (about a minute).
2. Connect the tablet to a PC via USB and get any response from the PC?
- No, neither the N800 or my PC show any changes.
Does the:
1. Blue LED light on the D-PAD light up at all at any point?
- No, it seems absolutely dead
