In theory yes although I have not had success yet with Media Streamer running outside my local network as UPnP expects everything to be running on same network. Regarding VNC yes it just works, as does the web based TVersity GUI Lib running in the opera browser. (Note: Use your Hamachi network IP)

Great that someone is testing similar things as then we can be more sure that results are consistent etc.
