Expected. I'm sure you cannot claim rights on such. If you want to cancel your pre-order I guess you can do that, but I don't know consumer law on that regard well.

Possibly. A mature product after geeks finished the sharp edges and after important community supported software is available and stable benefits non-technical end users. For example, Telepathy Haze (IM protocols such as MSN for Telepathy) is something many non-technical end users will want to install right away.
