Before I retired I was a trucker so sort of understand how these things work, probably end up at Tamworth for delivery tomorrow by van, I am guessing early afternoon it arrives. I am enjoying very much the hype to the whole thing. Am I the first 60 year old person in the UK to get one of these things? One suggestion for Nokia, that the n900 get a proper name so as to put it on an equal par with an Iphone, Android etc n900 sounds a little clinical, perhaps we could have a naming brainstorm Bit about me. I've been a Linux geek for over 8 years and computers have been my hobby for going on 30 years, my first proper mobile was a Samsung SGH-E900 ok as a phone, but virtually useless on the internet 'coz of the tiny screen, the other thing that peeved me about the Samsung, I could not get it to interface properly with my Mandriva Linux PC, the only way to get my PC to talk to my phone was to boot up the dreaded windoze urgh. I detest closed source operating systems . My special interest in terms of the n900, are traveling and getting internet access for blogging in different countries, I did make a trip to Germany last summer and was impressed with how vodafone handed me over to each countries network as I drove through, my other big interest for the n900 is chess. Well wish me luck for tomorrow.
