SMS, MMS are probably gimmicks to those that don't use it; but you know what? No gimmick has replaced it yet. And honestly, I would love for something to replace them. But nothing yet...

Sorry, but taking a photo, then sending it via e-mail isn't that hard, nor is it all that new either. And it does not solve when a person doesn't have an e-mail capable phone either.

And all this talk about data being flat rate, then it should be no problem coming up with a way to send/share via data only. Time for a new standard.

One that's not 20+ years old either. E-mail, it's ancient... I want something else that does not require too much UI either.
