I really like the progam. it was working before I uninstalled a few python files to install the optifyed version. I don't know if thats the problem but it's the last thing I've done to clear some space in rootfs.

I'm guessing its quitting fast enough that it isn't getting around to processing the log. I wonder if there is a dependency issue. Try running

Code:

/usr/lib/quicknote/quicknote_gtk.py

That will launch quicknote from the command line and give you all the gory details. I would be curious what the output is.
