There is no such thing as "supports HTML5". No browser support the complete spec. In fact no browser is even near complete HTML5 support.

Some browsers implement parts of the HTML5 spec. Opera has the lead in some areas, Gecko (Firefox) in other areas and Webkit (Safari/Chrome) in yet some areas.

Some browsers implement other cool new technologies that are not HTML5, but often get lumped in with HTML5: Geolocation, web workers, (parts of) SVG, XHR, etc.

Since H.264 is a format that is not free to use, I hope Mozilla never will cave in and start supporting it. The web should have open formats.
