When you're doing iPhone OS stuff I'd say yes, but you have a few different options with Maemo. The emulator Xephyr mode is actually the least desirable for me 'cause the armel QEMU doesn't work and the X86 target has its own problems. So, I either use sshfs and the FREMANTLE_ARMEL target, or I open 3 ssh sessions to the device. And then I also do some light coding while in bed. Since the stand sucks, the device sits up nicely on the curve of her a*s. Again, J/K.

It just so happens that the device is the best emulator, because everything actually works. I've been doing OpenGL ES and Availability stuff lately, and that should be enough said.
I see, thank you for your information. Compiling in the real hardware for development should be ideal, but I'm just worrying that constantly loading up the device would wear out the CPU and flash pretty quick. I'll sort this out in a real development thread. Just want to get a quick response from you and you're helpful. Thank you very much.
