I had this problem in the uk yesterday.kept telling me to use nokia software updater.then when i got home, installed that on my pc and tried that it told me i had the latest update. the solution was to use the phones backup utility and make a backup of all apps and settings, then let the software updater re-install the current(1.1.1) version. after it has done that, go to app manager on phone and the pr1.2 will work. once this has finished you can then restore the backup you made using the backup utility on the n900
