Lacking openGL drivers for the powerVR gpu, we can only make wild guesses about what would be possible, Based on ssvb's tests N800 framebuffer speed is lower than 770 but certainly sufficient for 30+fps at 400x240.

It's hard to see much incentive for Nokia to pay for OpenGL drivers for the already released N800. I'm still hopeful we will see it in the next-gen tablets, which will be facing stiffer competition from other pda-like devices in the graphics department.

Back on topic -- this build of PCSX exists to show what kind of baseline performance a psx emu gets on the tablets, and i'm still waiting to hear results from N800 owners. If you have any PCSX compatible game (see http://www.pcsx.net/compatibility.shtml ) please try it and report results.

Within the next few weeks, I expect work will begin bringing psx4all to the nokia platform. psx4all has two years of optimization behind it, which has increased performance 10-20 times over the level you see with PCSX.

Cheers

(edit) Abe's Oddyssee runs - almost exactly 1.0 fps. Intro movies play but render errors...
