One aspect I forgot to add - IMHO Nokia's stance on it's products and customers is something fairly tangential to the Council. We're not a jury to give 'good Nokia' points when they come with good news and 'bad Nokia' points when they come with bad (or no) news. That task is up to YOU (us just helping you have all the info and not hype-talk from PR speeches or un/misinformed tech-bloggers). The Council is first and foremost there because of the Community (capital C), and talking to Nokia is only part of that (as obviously Nokia's steps have a serious effect on every user). It's easy to say Nokia does nothing, but it is not true (even if that sounds unpopular and I sound as a Nokia apologetic because of that) - at the very least they are footing the bill for the maemo.org infrastructure and staff. It goes without saying, though, there is a whole lot *more* than that that we would like seeing.
