Decide for yourself if I know what I'm talking about. I used OS2006 for several months on a dual-boot N770, the other boot being the previous Hacker Edition. Now I've installed the latest OS2007HE and am gradually installing my old apps...I may not bother with dual-booting this time.

Why don't you dual-boot to try it out, that way you don't have to give up your current OS. If you don't know how to set up dual-boot and don't want to try, then don't try something called a "Hacker's" Edition operating system.
