Actually florian made one mistake in his post; you should write qspot in the terminal, not q-spot. =)

And yes, you need a premium account. I think it is mentioned in the program description when you're about to install Qspot.

You could've just registered an account from the Spotify homepage, really free. No need to buy "free" invites. Hopefully you didn't give your credit card number to the seller also. =)
