First:
Do you have a dual battery/mugen battery & XL cover, it will be next to impossible to fit even to very small 2mm plug base in the N900 without some room in the back?

Second:
I use my USB max a couple of times a month, and it is only for data transfer, i charge up doing the day instead of overnight, but it is not hard to use a "basic" charger and have it plugged in all night, it is of course not good for the battery to do a float charge.....

as you can see in Post #2 the 2mm plug is connected to the battery directly, in between the battery's and circuit

And because of this im probably the last one to experience broken USB port
