Hello. I know there are many threads about this particular subject but I haven't been able to find any solution.....
I have a nokia 770 in host mode via the flasher utility, a soldered-myself usb y cable, and a usb hub powered by a charger. Bottom line is, conncting my usb keyboard doesn't work and I don't know how to mount an usb stick ( tried with sda1,2 and sdb 1,2 no luck).
dmesg output:

Are you connecting the data lines to the hub? the keyboard needs power and data and the 770 needs power and data from the usb line, however the hub (or whatever is giving it power) needs to only be connected to the power lines, not data.

well, the keyboard is getting power from the hub which externally powered, the 770 is powered with the y cable ( the end which comes into the hub), and the 2 data lines go from the hub to the 770. That's my design, seeme is isn't working though

The power lines have to be common between the 770, the other device and whatever is giving the power. The data lines have to go only between the 770 and the device.

10x for the advice. resoldered the y cable so I could ditch the usb hub, and it works. adding the hub still isn't working, think i found my problem. seems strange, cause the hub works fine with the pc

mrlanrat have you found a way to automount that hd?
