Hi folks, quick question, do the maps downloaded for maemo mapper have to be stored on the boot device? If I want to download more maps, do I have to clone my OS to my SD card?

Awesome, thanks for clearing that up!
I looked for a place to set the location inside MM but I must have missed it.
Thanks, Evan.

If I want to move my map storage to my SD card, are these the steps.
1 Stop maemo mapper
2 Copy files from internal memory to chosen directory on SD card
3 Start maemo mapper
4 Tell maemo mapper when the files and database are.

I'm running a 1.x version of mapper. I can't find the place to tell it where the maps are located (in order to change it to my storage card).
And while I'm asking questions, how do I put it in offline mode (so that it doesn't try to download maps while I'm in the car with no Internet connection)?
And, when I try to install mapper 2.0 on my Nokia770 I get a message saying that it can't resolve the libconic0 dependency. Any ideas?
Thanks for your help!
