Partially booting. They're using the A8 which is good. It will never come to the n900 and if it ever does the overhead of trying to run x86 binaries would be too slow.

Windows recently announced an ARM port themselves. I'd pay to not use Windows but there's hope for others

This would be a more complete "Windows" on n900 than W7phone.
And you could run windows.net.
If you are going to be recompiling applications anyway, couldn't you make use of the ARM port of Wine, that's what winelib is intended for anyway, to allow easy porting of Windows apps to Linux (and other platforms Wine runs on). ReactOS borrows heavily from ARM anyway, would it really be worth dual-booting with ReactOS to make use of a few Windows apps that you would have to recompile to make use of?
